One of my most interesting weekends crammed into this conglomerate of random photos or what others call photo essay. Here it goes:
May 31, Thursday | The Puta and The Seven Ladies
Dinner and drinks with fellows from the Land of the Elites (also known as Krus na Ligas) at Delish. Table was down after a couple buckets of beer (read: 6 or more, my memory is a bit hazy because of all the fun and alcohol and the crazy ass gifts I received that night. Look, I am wearing a leopard skin bandana and red ribbon around my neck! - Thanks to Joyce and Pearl for the generosity. HAHAHA! Party ended around 3 in the morning, making all of us worthless come friday morning for our work.

June 1, Friday | Sky's the Langit Party, or as we call it, The Annual KKB party with my blockmates and college friends.
Another night of drinks over dinner with my college friends at Dencio's, our go-to-bar everytime our group wants to hang-out in QC. As of the writing, this is the night that gave the highest number of attendees ever since the very first monthly fellowship of this band of retarded-drunkard-graduates and their friends was organized back in April 2010. I am very glad to share this night with them as they are the ones responsible for my crying every night for all the soul-less bashing and heartless cursing I received during my college years. Thanks to my former roommate and live-in partner, Jerjer, for making the invites, Jen-jen for the greeting card, and Paolo and Pam for the Chocolate cake, yum-meh!
(Left to right) Jerjer the master porker, Sir Romeo the Magna Cum Laude, Sir Kenneth, Papa Jay the roomie, Pam, Jvlian the besprend, Paolo the former Katipunan roomie/lover, Some random person who looks like an Intsik Beho, Jen-jen, Aireen, Perfy and his mighty pusod, Rizza, Christian, and Ma'am Imee. Credit goes to uber sexy Ruth for taking the picture :D
June 2, Saturday Morning | Bonding with Nanay and pets
The title says it all, I spent my saturday morning in Bulacan having quality time with my Nanay and our pets. Picture above shows the frustrated Schiatzi the Retriever (our dog obviously, hahaha) because of the series of unfortunate events that happened during that particular morning, one of which is the almost broken tricycle. As I was driving to the town center to accompany my Nanay (together with Neyo and Schiatzi) to the local clinic to have her check-up, I noticed that something is terribly wrong: the gasoline tank is empty and we're halfway across the town (and about 1 kilometer away from the nearest gas station, ouch!). Well, to cut the story short, I walked to the nearest Petron station to get some fuel; good thing I saw my cousin who let me borrow his gasoline container.
On the plus side, Neyo the shih tzu finally got his grooming he needed, after 3 months of eecky hair. HAHAHA
Yes, he is suplado, and he says you can talk to the hand paw.
Ankee the monkey was not able to join us because he is too busy practicing The Thinker's pose above the Mahogany tree
June 2, Saturday Evening | A get-together party due almost 9 years ago.
Again, beer plus food plus friends, but what's the difference of this night? I am with my highschool friends Dodong and Lester, and our most hated English teacher / highschool adviser / bestfriend Sancho. The night was filled with so much fun, funny highschool anecdotes, kalokohan and memories, that I am afraid to put it into writing as I might not give it justice. I promised myself though that I will make a blow-by-blow description of what really happened that night, including quotable quotes like Sancho's epic - "Ang mga babae, pagsubok yan sa mga may asawa. Eh ano ba ginagawa sa mga pagsubok? Edi sinusubukan." Words from the master, really. LOL
In the meantime, here are some phrases that may very well be the summary of that night: funny highschool anecdotes career discussions gunshots in the middle of the night dictionary for the beer-drinking dummies who can't pronounce simple words correctly Bohemian Rhapsody Five for Fighting and anything under the radar of crazy life of highschool friends
And the 9 year thing? Here:
I will write about this. Soon. Cross my heart. Pramis talaga.
June 3, Sunday Evening | Usual Visit to Inang
Hmm, I remember, every year, during my birthday, I always make sure that I go to my Inang's side and force her to remember that it is my birthday. Well, I can't do that now for the first time in my life. She use to give me some spending money every June 1, but now that she's gone, I don't know. Ayoko namang takutin ako ng Inang ko sa birthday ko no. Kidding aside, I really miss my grandmother lalo ngayong birthday ko. I went to the cemetery with my Nanay and some relatives sunday afternoon.
Anyway, here's my most favorite picture of my Lola (taken during my birthday three years ago)
Oh diba, ang cool ng lola ko!
On the side note, this is sort of a big thank you note to all the people around me who made my past 23* years worth living and it was so much fun with you guys. Till next year!
*so awesome that I got to sing that Incubus song - promises, promises - and really feel the meaning of it, lalo na yung first stanza. hahaha
