Just before his birthday month expires, The Frustrated Manwhore decided to list 25 things and/or experiences that he is proud to have accomplished before he gets some episodes of quarter-life crisis (yes, he thinks that he'll live for 100 years). The list below is of random order of occurrence and is distributed left askew of his 25 years of existence:
1. He now trains in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), an interest he's been dreaming of since the dawn of 2003 when he accidentally watched UFC 44 mistaking it as a special WWE match.

Below: Training partners in grappling
2. He rides the bike. He did a cross country tour (~50km) last month from Bulacan to Quezon City --- endured 3 hours of solo biking the night of Labor day.
Pictured above were his highschool classmates and real life friends Mae and Dodong
3. He does production works with his film enthusiast friends. It was his long time dream with his highschool friend (and one of his closest friend, unfortunately) Dodong to venture on special projects on film making. However, it was only Dodong that focused on this stupid idea of doing non sensical films and The Frustrated Manwhore pursued his other dream of whoring around. (I am sarcastic, of course. Dodong's works have been prancing around different local film festivals and I get to be tagged along as the great alalay.)
Above: "The Last Call" team. The latest project of Dodong and its mastermind Khalil. This masterpiece will be screened this coming October for the CineFilipino 2013 Filmfest, so watch out!
Below: Outtakes from Pixelfish' "Balintuna", official entry to Cinemalaya 2012
He also works as part-time alalay to Pixelfish during event coverages. Talk about whoring around.
4. He writes a lot now; mostly dark stuff, but it's the irony that counts for him. Here's the list of my favorite articles from The Frustrated Manwhore:
5. He does mountaineering. Climbed several mountains including Makiling, Batulao, Pico de Loro, Pundaquit/Anawangin and some other mountainous ranges down south; the name of which is unknown to The Frustrated Manwhore (he's been to these mountains because of work trips): Zamboanga, Negros Occidental (Kanlaon), Negros Oriental, Kidapawan/North Cotabato (Apo), Bacon-Manito (Bicol/Sorsogon) and Leyte (Ormoc/Kanangga)
At Pico de Loro monolith. Scaling this monolith is one of his most favorite adventures of 2011

Here's a montage of clips from his trip to Pico de Loro with his friends:
6. Got a tattoo representing his love for his family and life in general.
Photo taken two weeks after the procedure. It's itchy as hell during the healing time!
Tattoo courtesy of the great Dyuntats
7. Played in a band for several occasions and competitions

8. He finished several running events. In fact, this is listed in his 30 going on 30 list: to be able to finish a half marathon (21 kilometers) race before he reached his 30s, and he already did it last year. twice. heehee
Don't be fooled by the poster on the background. 42km is still far from his reach.
Races finished:
Run for Japan (10 km)
Goldilocks Fun Run (10 km)
Greenfield Run (10 km)
SMB Fiesta Fun Run 2012 (5 km) *finished at top 20
Ateneo Run to Feed (10 km)
Energizer Night Run (10 km)
Quezon City 3rd International Marathon (10 km)
C5 Half Marathon (15 km)
World Vision Fun Run (21 km)
Quezon City 4th International Marathon (21 km)
SMB Fiesta Fun Run 2013 (8 km) *finished at top 15
9. The then 13 years old Frustrated Manwhore dreamt of becoming an Engineer as stated in his Elementary yearbook. And I must say, he is very happy to be a practicing civil engineer nowadays. He is also taking up his master's degree in Civil Engineering --- another item in his 30 going on 30 list.
10. He enjoyed a full-on ATV experience last year, traversing the tributaries of the Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, Albay and ending the trip on Mayon's Lava wall

11. As a gift for his self during his birthday weekend, he went to Singapore and Malaysia with his friends (LOLZIE, this is his attempt on using euphemism as a certified international third wheeler). It was his first trip outside the country, and man, it was a blast! A separate entry should be posted to give justice to the trip happenings in SG and KL. For the meantime, enjoy this video:
